The Sheik Restaurant is Coming Soon to Starke, Florida

The popular Jacksonville-area restaurant chain The Sheik Sandwiches & Subs will soon be opening their ninth restaurant. This restaurant will be coming to Starke, Florida near the Walmart Supercenter on Commercial Drive. The exact address will be 2540 Commercial Drive.

The Sheik was founded in 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida by brothers Samir and Munir Salameh, and their wives Suad and Basima. The very first Sheik restaurant opened for business on the corner of 18th St. and Main St. in Jacksonville and is still in operation today. The Sheik is best known for their Steak in a Sack, Camel Rider, and Cherry Limeade.

All of the current Sheik restaurants are located in Jacksonville, Green Cove Springs, Orange Park, and Callahan.
