Sailormen, Inc, a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen franchisee, is bringing the first Popeyes to Ellenton, Florida. Construction is underway on the Popeyes restaurant that will be located at 3707 US 301 N. Headquartered in Miami, the money-making executive team at Sailormen, Inc are CEO Kara Nordstrom, Pres. Robert S. Berg, VP Steven M. Wemple, CFO Jonathan Marmolejos, and COO Mark Reineri. Sailormen, Inc owns close to 100 Popeyes restaurants in Florida.

Sailormen, Inc, was founded in 1984.

Venture Construction Company is the general contractor for the project as well as a recently completed Popeyes restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida.

Popeyes doesn't appear to have much in the way of quick service restaurant competition in the immediate area, other than a Papa John's Pizza nearby.
