Olive Garden Coming Soon to Orlando Fashion Square Mall in Orlando, Florida

Olive Garden is taking over the recently demolished Sears store location at Orlando Fashion Square mall. Sears, once a top retailer, has struggled in recent years and reportedly plans to close dozens of store nationwide in the near future. Elfrink Custom Construction based in Oviedo, Florida is in charge of the Olive Garden construction project currently underway. The official address for the future Olive Garden at Orlando Fashion Square is 3111 E Colonial Drive.

Founded by Bill Darden in Orlando in 1982, there are now approximately 800 Olive Garden locations worldwide. Darden Restaurants, Inc, headquartered in Orlando, is the parent company of Olive Garden as well as LongHorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Yard House, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Eddie V's Prime Seafood and The Capital Grille. Bill Darden opened his first restaurant in 1938 at the age of 19 in Waycross, Georgia, his hometown.
