Chili's Grill & Bar is coming to Lake City, Florida. Construction has begun on the new Chili's restaurant at 2893 US 90, previously used by Applebee's. Stansell Properties & Development based in Odessa, Florida is the general contractor.

Founded by Larry Lavine in 1975 in Dallas, Chili's offers Tex-Mex cuisine in a casual setting. Brinker International is the parent organization of Chili's. There are over 1,600 locations around the world, with well over 100 locations in Florida. In Florida, Chili's restaurants are developed by Brinker Florida, Inc.
