IHOP is Coming Soon to Alafaya, Florida

A IHOP restaurant is planned to open soon in Alafaya, Florida on S Alafaya Trail. The official address will be 588 S Alafaya Trail.

Alafaya is a small community located a few miles east of Orlando. There are currently 10 IHOP restaurants in the Orlando area.

The owners of this IHOP franchise is Sunshine Restaurant Partners based in Sunrise, Florida. Sunshine Restaurant Partners owns over 150 IHOP restaurants in Florida and Southern Georgia.

The future IHOP will be located in the same plaza as Dunkin', Subway, Domino's Pizza, and Expert Nails & Spa. IHOP will take over the space previously used by East Coast Wings & Grill. Hawkeye Construction headquartered in Safety Harbor, Florida is the general contracter for the project.

IHOP was founded by Jerry Lapin, Al Lapin Jr., and Albert Kallis in 1958 in Burbank, California. The are approximately 1,650 IHOP restaurants worldwide. The company is headquartered in Glendale, California.

IHOP is famous for their pancakes, but they also serve waffles, omelettes, crepes, steakburgers, salads, roasted turkey sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and much more.
