Update: Construction has begun on the Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant at the Mitchell Ranch development in New Port Richey, Florida. Horizon Construction based in Alpharetta, Georgia is the general contractor.

Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant is coming soon to New Port Richey, Florida, as part of the new Mitchell Ranch development at State Road 54 and Little Rd. The Mitchell Ranch project currently under construction will be a combination of a restaurants/retail and homes. Chipotle Mexican Grill's official space in the development will be located at 3274 Word Way Suite G-1.

Main anchor tenants at Mitchell Ranch will be Sprouts Farmers Market, HomeGoods and Michaels. Other restaurants that will be joining Chipotle Mexican Grill so far are Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, Blaze Pizza, and Jersey Mike’s Subs. Walmart Supercenter is located to the north on the opposite side of State Road 54.

Founded by Steve Ells in 1993 Chipotle Mexican Grill has over 2,200 locations, mostly in the U.S. with some in Canada and Europe.
