Carly Donovan's path to losing weight and a dramatic improvement in her health was the result of desperation. The Guelph, Ontario, Canada native explains that her fat burning mission began when she was rushed to the hospital after falling at her home. At the time she weighed over 200 pounds and tells of being barely awake as the doctor spoke with her husband about some grim scenarios that she could expect if her health didn't improve.
Carly says that after this prognosis, she recalled reading recent media reports that revealed Japan was ranked as the healthiest country on earth, and women there are expected to live to be 87 years-of-age on average. This was the moment that she decided to find out why and after funding reasearch into this mystery, finally discovered the reasons behind Japanese weight loss, health and longevity.
