Wingstop Restaurant Coming Soon to Clearwater, Florida

A construction project is underway in Clearwater, Florida to bring the first Wingstop location to the city. The aviation-themed chicken restaurant will be located at 2090 Gulf to Bay Blvd. The franchise owner is Dunedin resident Marc Hermann.

Mr. Hermann also has a plan in the works to bring Wingstop to Brandon, Florida, and another Wingstop to the Bay area at a location that has yet to be made official.

Wingstop was founded by restaurateur Antonio Swad in 1994 in Garland, Texas. There are over 1,000 Wingstop restaurant locations worldwide.

At Wingstop, menu items consist of classic, boneless, and crispy tenders flavored with your pick of tasty sauces such as: atomic mango habanero, cajun, spicy Korean Q, Louisiana rub, mild, original hot, garlic parmesan, hickory smoked bbq, and Hawaiian and lemon pepper.
