New Wendy's Location Planned for Tampa, Florida on 56th Street

Wendy's is planning to have a restaurant constructed in Tampa, Florida on 56th Street near King High School. This Wendy's will be part of the very large Wendy's franchise group known as JAE Restaurant Group. JAE owns over 200 Wendy's restaurants located in the states of Florida, Texas, New Mexico, and Tennessee. JAE Restaurant Group founders are Jhonny Mercado, Andres Garcia, and Eddie Rodriguez. Ed Austin is the company CEO.

The planned site for Wendy's is 6925 N 56th Street.

The planned project requires approval for the necessary building permits from the city in order to commence. Nearby restaurants are Peking King, McDonald's and Tally Ho Bar and Grille.

Wendy's reported earnings of $400 million in the third quarter of 2018. Total earnings for the first three quarters of 2018 were nearly $1.2 billion, which is approximately $52 million more than the same time last year (2017).
