New Wawa Coming to Wesley Chapel, Florida

A Wawa is under construction next to Walgreens on State Road 54 near I-75 in Wesley Chapel, Florida. The general contractor for the project is iConstructors based in Tampa. iConstructors has built Wawa stores in Tampa and Orlando. The official address for the future Wawa is 28225 SR 54.

Wawa Florida, LLC is the entity that is establishing this Wawa store. Kevin Wiggins serves as president, Michael Eckhardt serves as vice president and secretary, and Jared Culotta serves as treasurer. The owner of the vacant land being used for the future Wawa is Pegasus Financial Group, LLC.

Wawa currently has a store in Wesley Chapel located on State Road 56; a little bit south of the future location. The future location on State Road 54 is much closer to I-75 so the increased traffic potential could be the reason for pursuing a new store there.

Headquartered in Media, Pennsylvania, Wawa with over 800 locations operates as a convenience store & gas station that also serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
