New Panda Express Restaurant Coming to Riverview, Florida

A new Panda Express restaurant is under construction in Riverview, Florida on Big Bend Road east of US Hwy 301. This will be the second Panda Express in the city of Riverview. The main contractor for the project is Candito Construction based in Cartersville, Georgia.

The official address for the future Panda Express will be 10753 Big Bend Road.

Panda Express is a fast casual restaurant chain specializing in American-Chinese cuisine. The Bend Bend Rd & Highway 301 area is a restaurant hot spot. Some of these establishments are: Papa John's, PDQ Restaurant, Popeyes, Burger King, Wendy's, Firehouse Subs, McDonald's, Peck's Flame Broiled Chicken, Starbucks, Panera Bread, and Buffalo Wild Wings.

Panda Express was founded by Master Chef Ming Tsai Cherng, his son Andrew Cherng and Andrew's wife Peggy. Andrew and his father opened Panda Inn, predecessor to Panda Express, in Pasadena, California in 1973. The first Panda Express opened in Pasadena, California in 1983. There are more than 1,900 locations worldwide.
