A new Checkers restaurant is coming soon to Miami, Florida. The address is 1782 NW 36th St.

The owner of this Checkers location is JAF Restaurant Group, run by Checkers franchisee/restaurateur Angelo Freites. JAF Restaurant Group is a large Checkers franchise owner, with dozens of Checkers restaurant locations throughout South Florida (link: http://jafrestaurants.com/locations/). Yagar Construction based in Miami is the main contactor for the project.

Some nearby restaurants in the area of NW 36th Steet are: Little Caesars Pizza, JAK's Hot Dogs, Tipicocentro Americano Cafe, and Mexico Taqueria.

The Checkers restaurant chain was founded by Jim Mattei in 1986 in Mobile, Alabama. The fast-food giant widely praised for their uniquely delicious french fries, is headquarted in Tampa, Florida.

This is his first time eating at Checkers.
